JEWELRY CARE

MATERIALS

GOLD PLATED STAINLESS STEEL

Stainless steel is a highly durable, hypoallergenic metal that is resistant to corrosion and rust when properly cared for. Stainless steel jewelry doesn’t get scratched or damaged easily like other metals. Being hypoallergenic means that it is unlikely to cause an allergic reaction. It doesn't affect the body or cause any adverse effects on the skin. While gold plating may show signs of wear over time, the stainless steel base of Unfiltered jewelry slows down the process significantly.

GOLD PLATED BRASS

Using brass as a base metal for jewelry combines the durability of brass with the luxurious appearance of gold. To enhance its aesthetic appeal, a thin layer of gold is electroplated onto the brass surface, which increases the longevity of the piece. Gold-plated brass offers a balance of affordability and elegance.

Our 14k -18k gold plating can last years if properly taken care of, please follow the care instructions below.
